Follow the normal browser path
Open the saved link and allow normal redirects to finish. Note whether the result is a product page, category, homepage, sign-in prompt or app handoff. Do not enter account credentials into an unexpected domain. If legitimate access is required, use the recognized service and mark the row unresolved until the product can be inspected.
Preserve the source identity
Compare the final domain, product identifier and seller reference with the saved row. A different address may be a harmless route change, but it may also lead to another item. Verify the visible product and selected option before treating the new URL as equivalent. Keep parameters that select a necessary variant unless you have verified the page without them.
Log the result without exposing private data
Record checked date, original public link, final public product URL and outcome. Do not publish account tokens, private order links or personal details copied from an authenticated address. If the destination remains a generic page, record that limitation rather than calling it verified. Use the replacement workflow only after establishing that the old source is unavailable.
